2025 Summer Sports Education Camp REVIEW & PHOTOS

Our 10th anniversary camp featured 8 athletes from Maine and New Hampshire participating in 10+ sports including soccer, kickball, swimming, track & field, yoga, wrestling, archery, disc golf, functional fitness, and goalball. Special guest Lindsay Ball, 2014 Paralympic ski racer, inspired our athletes.

2025 Summer Sports Education Camp Award Winners

Celebrating outstanding achievements from our 2025 camp. Will H. earned Athlete of the Year, Delaney K. received the Spirit Award, Cheryl G. was honored as Volunteer of the Year, and Alfond Youth & Community Center received Organization of the Year.

2023

Summer Sports Camp 2023

MOBALE held its 2023 Sports Education camp at the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville, ME. Athletes participated in track and field, goalball, dance, swimming, rock climbing, and other sports. Plans announced to add new sports in 2024.

2022

MOBALE Sports Education Camp 2022

The 2022 camp was held at the Alfond Youth Center with 12 athletes, including 2 junior counselors and 7 volunteers. Activities included track and field, goalball, dance, swimming, and rock climbing. Sadie Hammond was named Volunteer of the Year for teaching accessible tennis.

Summer 2020 Newsletter - A Summer Like No Other

Due to COVID-19, MOBALE held a virtual sports camp via Zoom with six athletes. Activities included strengthening exercises, yoga, and karate. Sydney Mason was named Volunteer of the Year for her martial arts instruction during this challenging time.
